The Indian Most talented captain and wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni came from a small Village town, he was not a “naamdaar” – and the path he rose and led illustrates the real spirit of New India, Prime Minister Modi said.The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a letter to talented indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, congratulating him on a glorious and success career, and describing the former India captain’s journey and influence as a sportsman, coming from the cricketers backwaters of Ranchi. The indian Prime Minister addressed that MS Dhoni as ‘Dear Mahendra’ and called him “one of the important illustrations of the spirit of India where family names does not make young people’s destiny ”.

Small town boy
“Rising from a humble beginnings in a small village town, you burst onto the national scene, and you have made a name for yourself and most essentially made India proudly. Mahendra Simg Dhoni grew up in Colony of MECON at Ranchi India, and after that went to DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir school, and they have worked as a ticket collector in the Indian Railways.
Till the turn of the century, stardom in Indian cricket was basically restricted to the big metropolises. MS Dhoni broke the glass ceiling.
His rise to prominence allowed too many budding cricketers from small Village towns, and even from villages, to big dreams. For Isntance Munaf Patel, Suresh Raina, Rodra Partan Sing short form is R P Sing, Piyush Chawla, – all of them followed in Dhoni’s footsteps.
