 Are India's cricket pitches really bad as claimed by Australian and English cricketers?

Big NO. All this hoopla about the pitch is because for one big reason. England is out of WTC. And if England have won Australian chances were more. So they are criticizing that test in mot-era. There is lot being written and said about pitch against as well as for the pitch.. Secondly it is high time the Australian, south Africans, England, new Zealand and other nations outside Asia start respecting art of spin and instead of criticize it learn to play spin.

Yes there was a challenge in mot-era test but not because of wicket but due to pink ball. As pink ball is different from red ball.

See according to me the stitching of pink ball and red ball is different. The pink ball stitching is more hard then red ball so you can grip it better and spinners find it easy to grip. For example the bowling in Chennai was way-word and short but with pink ball he got good grip and so was on right on the target.

Secondly the pink ball is more hard so it skidded and zip more than normal red ball. In India we are used to play on spinning tracks but the spin is slow so the batsmen got the time to adjust the spin. But here it was zipping and spinning fast so it was difficult for Indians also to play it. If you see Virat Kohli and Rehane wicket they were outdone for speed rather than spin.

Last but very important point till now the pink ball was used in test matches outside India on seaming friendly tracks. This is the first time that a pink ball was used in a spinner friendly track so no one was sure how to play spin with pink ball. It can also be difficult to gauge the pink ball coming from the hand of bowlers..

One point i like to mention here this hue and cry about spin tracks is not new to us. England have won the series last time in India was due to spin may they remembered it. That time they were having quality spinners like swain. This time they have spinner but without experience. See if we are in home conditions with spin and in away tours against pace then it should be OK for us.

As long as we are winning away tours we should not bother about our pitches are they spinning or pace or seam.

At the end it is all about winning. If England have made good score in first innings they would have won easily. And nobody would be talking on pitches.
