What are some Harry Potter ships you do not agree with?

Harry and Ginny

I know. I KNOW. I know that Harry and Ginny have a wonderful, harmless relationship - which makes no sense. Harry and Ginny were literally STRANGERS together. They didn’t talk much, and in the Order of the Phoenix Hemione literally said that GINNY GAVE UP ON HARRY. But no, Harry didn’t give up on Ginny. In the Half Blood Prince, Rowling literally forced Harry to kiss Ginny when they didn’t even know each other well Like it doesn’t make any sense how Harry likes Ginny and Ginny actually accepts going out with Harry. And THEY GET MARRIED. Who marries their school crush? Like that didn’t make any sense.

Personally I would have liked Harry to marry with Cho instead because I wanted to see Cho Chang as a strong female character who overcame her trauma with Cedric. And it turned to a weird mess because Cho turned out as a sulky, hysterical, and stereotypical Asian girl who relied on boys.

And then it became all too weird because Harry and Ginny just dated.

And they got married.

How neat. How boring. How it doesn’t make any sense.

Sorry for people who ship Harry and Ginny, but I think it doesn’t make any sense. It was just there to make the golden trio marry ideally, which I think was a mistake because the second part didn’t make any sense either.

Ron and Hermione

This part did make sense more then Harry and Ginny, but I don’t think Ron and Hermione would have been very happy together. They were always fighting with each other throughout the series and even if they did love each other I think it wasn’t a romantic relationship. Like the first ship, it was too awkward to make Ron kiss Hermione like that. It was too abrupt and didn’t make ANY sense.

I think the problem with those ships is that they certainly don’t make any sense. It was just there to make the PERFECT ending.
