Which are the most expensive players of the IPL 2021?

Ah so as you see above, the above list contains 9 most expensive players in the IPL 2021….and some of them have such a huge price tag on them despite not performing well recently or even over the years, while some of them deserved it….Anyway lets have a look at these 9 :

1 . CHRIS MORRIS (16.25 CR —— RR )

Well he is a nice bowling all rounder and along with swinging the ball well at the front to take some wickets at good ER, he can swing the bat well too…but he needed to have much better stats for someone fetching 16.25 Cr !

Anyway it has been his good BBL form in which he played 15 matches getting 22 wickets at 19.4 avg and 8.01 ER as well as 112 runs at 147 SR as well as getting 11 wickets last IPL at 6.63 ER and 19 avg……which prompted teams to go big for him !

2 . KYLE JAMIESON (15 CR —— RCB )

The tall placer (6 ft 8 ) from NZ who can bat very well too was sure to be a big buy in his maiden IPL stint after he impressed one and all with 36 wickets at 13.27 avg as well as some handy knocks of 40+ scores against India in the Test arena, before moving onto limited over matches !

He can bowl a deadly out-swinger and with his height he can extract a good pace and bounce and will be a key player for RCB !

3 . GLENN MAXWELL ( 14.25 CR ——— RCB)

Glenn Maxwell, the Big Show, who surprisingly decides not to perform well in the IPL and his price keeps increasing the more he fails….and once again the big hitting spinning all rounder kept that going !

And as usual he quickly found his rhythm during the India ODI series as the all-rounder was on fire, hammering the Indian bowlers across the park to finish the series with 167 runs from three matches with 11 sixes and 12 boundaries. And to it some brilliant fielding skills !

4 . JHYE RICHARDSON ( 14 CR —— PK)

The tearaway quick from Aus impressed all when he first destroyed a strong Indian batting order when he just made his debut….and then after soem good performances in the BBL, he has been a great buy, a good fast bowler.

He has a knack of taking wickets with his pace and swing at a good avg and low ER ! He impressed all in the Big Bash League 2021 (BBL 2021) season for the Perth Scorchers picking up 29 wickets at an impressive average of 16.31.

5 . K GOWTHAM ( 9.25 CR —-—- CSK)

He has been a prolific spinning all rounder in India’s domestic circles with many wickets at good avg and ER taken by his spin as well some blistering knocks, like 35 odd of 13 balls to help his team win the match !

He will be a very good addition after good IPL seasons before , however whether he can once again live upto his repute in the international arena in IPL circles remains to be seen !

6 . RILEY MEREDITH ( 8 CR—— PK)

A totally new name in the IPL —- this tall pacer reminds me of Lockie Ferguson, good bounce and a simply tearaway quick, speedster, clocking 150+ many times ( kind of even looks similar lol ) !

Meredith was a star turnout for the Hobart Hurricanes side in the BBL. Meredith has played 34 games for the Hurricanes and the lethal fast bowler has bagged 43 wickets with an incredible average of 23.60 along with a noteworthy economy rate of 8.06.

7 . MOEEN ALI ( 7 CR ——— CSK )

Moeen Ali has always been a good hard-hitting all rounder in all formats of the game…..and in limited over matches he has played gem of an innings several times with some swashbuckling innings consisting of huge sixes and fours

Recently with him scoring a whirlwind 43 off 17 even in a Test match, that too in India, and capturing 8 wickets , it was expected that he would go for a big price and any team would be sensible to buy him :D And CSK perhaps found a replacement for Kedar :)

8 . SHAH RUKH KHAN ( 5.25 CR —— PK )

He is a young guy initially famous for his name shared with SRK, movie star ! But known for his hard hitting skills, PK broke their banks for him.

Shahrukh made his T20 debut for Tamil Nadu in 2014 and since then he has played 31 T20s and scored 293 runs at 18.31 and a strike rate of 131.39. He recently smashed 40 not out off just 19 balls to win Tamil Nadu a Syed Mushtaq Ali tournament match against Himachal Pradesh.

9 . TOM CURRAN ( 5.25 CR ——- DC )

A regular star pacer in the IPL, he has shown off his lovely pace and bounce over the year, but despite getting wickets, his high ER remains a big worry !
